These conveyor belts comprised of several plies with coatings specifically suitable for various types of transport have lateral containment edges and bucket traverses capable of going up slopes of 80° or more on "routes" with varying inclinations and significant loads.
They are available in standard widths with the special edges positioned right at the edge of the belt or at 70, 90 mm from the outside according to the type of constant of variable grade 60, 80, 120, 160, 200, 240 edges are used proportionally high with traverses that are either straight or titled.
On variable slope inclinations inserts with grater transverse rigidity are used. A typical denomination is: GB class/no. plies, slope (transport), belt width/edge width height mm./traverse type/developing pitch/coating type and thickness.
Advantages of conveyor belts GB are:
they enable transport of material without dissipating;
they enable transport of two different materials without meddling with each other on transporter (two chamber transport);
they prevent rolling and sliding of material;
they increase capacity of transport for four times comparing with classic conveyor belts;
because of allowed belts slopes of 80° (exceptionally 90°) they can save a lot of space.
